Public Recognition Guidelines for In-Person and on Zoom:
Public Recognition is the time when members of the audience may address the Board on matters both listed and not listed on the agenda. The Board will limit the total time for public input to 20 minutes for on-agenda items, and 20 minutes for non-agenda items.
In general, comments from the public are limited to three (3) minutes per person; however, the Board President may reduce the individual speaker time limit(s) if there are a large number of individuals desiring to address the Board.
In-Person: Those persons wishing to speak should complete a Speaker's Card and submit it to the superintendent's Executive Assistant.
Via Zoom: Those persons wishing to speak on the Zoom call will use the "hand raise" feature located at the lower right of their screens. When your name is called please turn your video and microphone to the "On" setting. After your comment you can return your video and microphone to the "Off" settings.
